When it comes to perforating rule, no other rule manufacturer comes close to the variety of sizes available from National. We produce an almost infinite variety of styles for the corrugated, folding carton and business forms industries. All National Perforating rule is punched, then ground to eliminate burrs and improve release. A chart of standard fractional perforating rule availability is shown below; however, National can produce any perf you need to solve a particular problem. Also available in TPI (teeth per inch), decimal and metric versions.

Most common “TPI” (teeth per inch) perf rules: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 17. Custom sizes also available. Most common metric perfs: (in milimeters) 2×2, 4×4, 6×6, 8×8, 10×10, 12×12 and 15×15. Custom sizes may be available. Examples of decimal perfs: .187″T x .045”S, .125” x .050”S, .047”T x .024”S
